What Our Program Offers
Centrally located in Lake Highlands near Walnut Hill and Audelia.
Serving ages 1 month-5 years.
Registered with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. CPR, First Aid certified. Member of local, state and national child care associations. Non-smoking environment.
Periodic inspections by state, food program and sanitation department.
Certified teacher. Hold State Board for Educator Certifications for All Level Self-Contained Classroom Teacher, lifetime certification, grades 1-8. Computer technology certification, & lifetime reading specialist certification, grades 1-8. Graduate Academic Certification in ESL. Graduate Academic Certification in Web Development in Education and Training Environments.
Ongoing assessment and evaluation of each child to ensure school readiness.

Digital pictures of your child e-mailed of daily activities.
Our outdoor play area is fully fenced and allows children the space to run, climb, throw, jump, pretend, and dream. In the summer time I provide a water table for sensory play. More fun awaits at the playhouse, picnic table, and ride-on toys! We explore the outdoor environment daily and on rainy days there is plenty of space for active indoor activities.

Member USDA Food Program. Nutritious Snacks and Meals Served, 8:00 breakfast, 11:30 lunch, 3:30 snack.
Meals and nap times personalized for your child's needs. Personalized sleeping area for each infant and toddler.
Diapering done with gloves, and hand washing of child and caregiver before and after.
Daily bleaching of toys and furniture.
Sick children who are contagious are kept at home.
Current immunizations are required for all children.
Visitations are welcomed.
Daily notes provided that provide feedback about your child's activities and schedule for the day and recommendations for follow-up by parents.
Over 40 hours annually of childcare training and 30+ years experience in teaching and early childhood education.
Parent-teacher conferences welcomed at any time for a formal review of your infant or toddlers progress. Daily posting of schedule, weekly lesson plans, the weekly menu, and more.
Preschool & Kindergarten Readiness Curriculum for infants, toddlers, two year olds & preschoolers. Montessori, Play-based and Traditional Teacher-led approach to learning providing a fun enriching program in a Christian child-oriented environment.
Language Enrichment Activities Program (LEAP). This curriculum was developed and is currently used for preschool teacher training at SMU. Different topics are taught and developed through hands on science projects, math projects, literacy activities, dramatic play, and daily read-alouds. I also use a childcare provider developed curriculum incorporated with my own teacher created curriculum and modifications. My program is focused on literacy activities to develop reading, math and other skills in preparation for preschool and kindergarten readiness.
Playtime/learning time for practicing key skills such as numbers, colors, shapes and letters.
Fun structured learning activities that boost language and communication skills that you can see in action.
Learning centers in the classroom that include: a book center, a block center, a manipulatives center, a music center, a dramatic play center, a math center, a science center, an art center, a listening center, and a writing center.
Lessons geared to each child's developmental level.
A wide variety of learning materials to ensure that no matter where children choose to play, they are learning.
